Senior Phase

Transitioning to Young Adulthood

Senior Phase Students
Grades 7-9

Critical Thinking & Choices

The Senior Phase (Grades 7 to 9) is a pivotal time for learners aged 13 to 15. They begin the transition from child to young adult, preparing for important subject choices that will impact their future careers.

Young and enquiring minds begin to think in more complex and abstract terms. We create opportunities for in-depth learning, critical thinking, and advanced problem-solving. Communication becomes central to the learning process.

Values in Practice

Importantly, the value system learnt in the younger years is put into practice. It is often challenged as the older child develops personally and in relationships with family and peers. We provide a steadfast Biblical environment to guide them through these challenges.

Core Development

  • Abstract Thinking: Moving beyond concrete concepts to complex reasoning.
  • Career Readiness: Preparing for Grade 10-12 subject selection.
  • Relationships: Navigating personal development and peer interactions with Biblical values.
